A MAN was left bleeding with one eye swollen shut after being attacked and robbed in Civic yesterday.

ACT Policing said the victim was walking towards King O'Malley's pub when he was approached by two men in Garema Place around 12.40am.
The victim was punched several times in the head and knocked to the ground while one man took his wallet.
The victim was left with a bleeding mouth and nose, his left eye was swollen shut and forehead grazed. ACT Ambulance took him to Canberra Hospital with breathing difficulties.
The victim was unable to provide police with a description of the offenders and ACT Policing is appealing for witnesses.
