A man was grabbed by the shirt and threatened with a knife by three men in Canberra’s inner south overnight.

The incident happened about 8pm near the grandstand of the Kingston Oval. Three men approached the victim, grabbed the front of his search, and threatened him with a knife.
The men made a number of demands, before releasing their hold on the victim, who was able to run away.
No property was stolen, nor was the man hurt during the incident.
The three men have all been described as between 25 and 40 years in age and Caucasian in appearance. One of them had short brown hair, a beard, and was wearing a hoodie, the other two men were both wearing baseball caps, one about 160 centimetres tall, and the other about 170 centimetres.
Police are urging anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the website. Information can be provided anonymously.
