Police have released a face-fit image of a man who they say tried to lure a child into a car in Canberra last month.

ACT Policing said the man was driving an old, white sedan with several scratches and dents on the panels when he approached a child on Kitchener Street, Garran, about 8.25am on Friday, May 25.
The man allegedly offered the child a lift, but the child refused and ran from the area to tell their parents.
The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, 30-40 years old and of medium build.
He was unshaven, had a deep voice and a red and green tattoo on his right wrist/lower forearm. He was wearing a black beanie and dark jacket with the sleeves rolled up.
Police are urging anyone with information or dash-cam footage that could help with their investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
Information can be provided anonymously, quoting reference number 6269577.
Police encouraged everyone to remind children of the importance of stranger safety, and to report any unusual approaches by calling 131 444, or 000 in emergencies.
