A man who called triple-0 from his bathroom after three men allegedly armed with a fake gun stormed his Turner apartment told police he was scared because Rebels bikies were looking for him, a court has heard.

But lawyers for one of the men said he didn't have any links to outlaw motorcycle groups and was "in the wrong place at the wrong time" after his co-accused allegedly sparked a police stand-off that lasted four hours on Saturday.
Darin Paul Keir, 37, Brent Douglas Collins, 26, and Nathanial Paton, 27 faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday charged with aggravated burglary over the alleged home invasion.
Collins denied any involvement and has pleaded not guilty. Keir and Paton have not yet entered pleas.
Court documents said officers went to the unit block after the man called police from the bathroom and said the men were threatening his family about 6am.
That man's brother allegedly told police he'd answered the door to one of the offenders, who pulled a replica pistol from his pants.
The alleged offender said he was looking for another man, who lived in a nearby unit, as he was linked to the Rebels and possibly owed a drug debt.
Officers said they found two women, who appeared "shaken and visibly upset" on the lounge, as well as the man who phoned police in the bathroom.
One of the women is alleged to have said the trio booted down the door before one offender hit a man inside and said they planned to take his brother hostage and kill him.
The woman said she let the men sit inside the unit as they "smoked a couple of bongs" until police knocked on the door.
Collins and Paton were allegedly found in separate bedrooms. They were later arrested.
Police found Keir in a nearby unit at the block. He was taken into custody shortly before 10am.
Court documents said a man later told police Keir had shown up at his apartment that morning, wearing a Rebels T-shirt, and punched him in the face.
Neither Keir or Paton applied for bail when they appeared briefly in court.
Collins' bid for release was opposed by the prosecution on grounds he was likely to reoffend, intimidate witnesses or interfere with the ongoing police investigation.
His defence barrister, Jack Pappas, said police didn't have any intelligence to suggest Collins was connected to bikie gangs, and he wasn't baring any club insignia at the time.
"He can't even ride a motorbike, Your Honour," he said.
He said Collins had gone to the unit block to buy marijuana before he fell asleep in a bedroom and awoke to police shining a torch in his eyes. His client was in the wrong place at the wrong time, he argued.
Magistrate Beth Campbell said Collins' role in the alleged offences wasn't clear from the police facts. She granted bail on strict conditions, including that he live with his parents at Queanbeyan and comply with a curfew.
The three men return to court later this month.
