Police are appealing for the public to help in their hunt for three men who allegedly abducted and sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl during the girl's afternoon jog in Holt on September 15.
The teenager was running along Spofforth Street listening to music at about 5.30 that Saturday evening when she was grabbed from behind.
Three men quickly dragged her into a Ford Falcon sedan, thought to be a metallic blue colour, police say.
She was sexually assaulted, before the men dumped her in a car park near the Kippax Playing Field near Moyes Crescent, police say.
The victim was able to provide police with descriptions of the men, which have been used to build a facefit image of one of them.
Police have begun putting up posters around the Kippax area hoping members of the public will recognise the alleged offender's face and come forward. The man is described as having a large build, short blonde hair, with blue-green eyes and stubble.
Police believe he was wearing a blue-green jumper with white cuffs and white writing on the front, and light blue denim jeans.
The driver was thought to have a husky voice, a dark coloured mohawk, with shaved sides, and he was wearing a dark top. He was clean shaven.
The front passenger was described as having short, light brown hair, with freckles on the back of his neck, wearing a black long-sleeve Adidas jumper with white stripes on the arms.
Police also want to talk with anyone who may have seen the girl running on Spofforth Street that afternoon.
