Missing since July 3, an ACT Policing spokeswoman said the 15-year-old was found safe and well about 6.45pm.

Known commonly as Lori, Ms Knobel-Wickson’s extended family and friends had taken to social media to raise awareness of her disappearance.

After last beeing seen at her father’s Queanbeyan home, Ashleigh had been in contact with her family for two days but

had not been heard from since July 5.

She had been seen around Canberra’s inner north in recent days and police had asked media outlets to publish information and photos saying they held fears for her safety.
