A NSW Police spokesman said the accident was reported at 6.27am around 5km south of the intersection of Kelly Road, which is 1km south of the ACT/NSW border.

The spokesman said all people were out of their cars and no further injuries had been sustained.

Traffic in the area is still flowing however NSW Police have warned motorists to expect delays given the number of emergency service staff on the scene.

Police have urged motorists to drive safely when passing through the area and to take car on the roads this weekend.
