Southbound traffic was being diverted off the Monaro Highway after a car crashed into two light poles between Tharwa Drive and Old Tuggeranong Road in Tuggeranong.
ActewAGL has now removed the light poles from the road and the diversions have been lifted.
An ACT Emergency Services Agency spokesman said one male patient has been taken to Canberra Hospital for observation with no serious injuries.
The ACT Fire and Rescue and Ambulance paramedics also attended the scene.
