But the cats are about to take over. In their quiet, subtle, we really-don't-need-to-impress way.
The Million Purrs Walk will feature images of cats trying to prove they can do whatever dogs can do, including going for a casual walk on a lead. Big call that.
But there is a serious motivation behind the whimsical campaign.
For the second time this year, the cattery at the RSPCA headquarters in Weston is full to overflowing.
The are more than 130 cats and kittens available for adoption, including the regal-looking male cat Gryphon (pictured).
The RSPCA has set a target of adopting a minimum of 100 felines of all ages, with hopes by June 9 its cattery will be close to empty as the cats and kittens find their "forever home".
