There were three separate crashes on Canberra's roads over peak hour.
A collision between a car and a motorcycle on Barry Drive in Turner about 8.45am left the motorcyclist with lower limb injuries. He was treated by ACT Ambulance paramedics and transported to The Canberra Hospital.
One lane was closed, and traffic was banked up as far as the Gungahlin Drive Extension, according to police.
Earlier an accident on Flemington Road outside EPIC in Canberra's north also caused some delays, while another crash at the intersection of Canberra Avenue and Dalby Street in Fyshwick left one patient requiring transportation to hospital with what are believed to be minor injuries.
Both the EPIC and Fyshwick incidents are now clearing, however some delays may remain into the morning.
On the south coast, a fatal truck crash was affecting traffic shortly after 7am on the Princes Highway at Termeil, between Batemans Bay and Ulladulla.
The truck ran off the road and hit a tree, trapping the driver, a man believed to be in his 70s.
NSW Ambulance paramedics said the man had severe leg injuries. He was being treated for critical injuries, however died at the scene.
The Snowy Hydro SouthCare rescue helicopter was initially called to the site, however was turned back.
Police said one northbound lane of the highway was closed.
