A 22-year-old NSW man facing a string of serious charges involving aggravated burglary and firearm offences was picked up in the ACT after police apprehended him allegedly driving a stolen vehicle.

Nathan Brian Stretton, of Bredbo, faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday on fresh charges, and on a warrant for failing to appear in the Supreme Court in June.
He is charged in the Magistrates Court on four offences, being two counts of driving a stolen motor vehicle in the ACT, aggravated burglary, and aiding and abetting endangering life.
The man is charged with a further seven offences in the Supreme Court, involving possession of drugs, firearm offences and aggravated burglary.
In total he is facing 11 charges across both courts.
Police allege they saw the man driving a blue Honda Civic in Tuggeranong on Thursday, which they identified as having been stolen during a burglary in Campbell. Police lost sight of the vehicle, which was later found burnt out at Tharwa.
On Friday, police allegedly recognised the same man driving a stolen silver Ford XR6. He was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House.
The man did not apply for bail. He did not enter pleas.
He will reappear before the court on Thursday.
Investigations are ongoing.
