Police are investigating a mid-air collision between two gliders north of Goulburn on Saturday afternoon.

The gliders collided above a rural property on Carrick Road, Carrick, about 3.40pm.
As a result, one of the gliders struck the ground, killing the 50-year-old male pilot and seriously injuring the 70-year-old male co-pilot.
The injured man was taken to Liverpool Hospital where he is recovering.
The other glider was able to land safely, with the 72-year-old male pilot escaping uninjured.
Police from Goulburn Local Area Command attended and are conducting inquiries into the accident.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
