A map of crashes at all ACT intersections last year shows the roundabouts where Parkes Way intersects with Coranderrk Street and Anzac Parade were the worst cross-streets in the territory.
The Parkes Way and Coranderrk Street intersection hosted 68 crashes, and there was one less crash at the roundabout where Parkes Way meets Anzac Parade.
The only saving grace, it appears, is that there were only five injuries at the intersections combined; the remaining crashes damaged only the vehicles.
Like most collisions elsewhere, the accidents at the two roundabouts were mostly rear-enders, but some right-angle (T-bone) crashes were thrown in, as well as vehicles occasionally brushing the sides of others.
ACT government figures show the top six intersections with the most collisions are in north Canberra.
There were at least 3790 crashes at intersections last year out of a total of more than 7100 collisions during the year. Of the total, 488 resulted in injuries; the rest caused property damage only.

There were seven deaths on the ACT's roads, its second lowest road toll since 1959.
Other dodgy intersections for drivers included Kingsford Smith Drive and Southern Cross Drive, which had 26 crashes.
This was followed by a handful of difficult intersections in Gungahlin -Gungahlin Drive-Gundaroo Drive (23), Gungahlin Drive-Wells Station Road (23) and Hinder Street-Efkarpidis Street (23).
Seventh on the list of worst intersections for the year was where Tuggeranong Parkway turns into Drakeford Drive and intersects with Sulwood Drive (20).
