A bus has crashed into a power pole on Limestone Avenue in Braddon causing traffic delays and injuries to passengers on board.
The mini-bus containing two young passengers and a driver hit the power pole at the intersection of Henty Street on the northbound side of the road.
Intensive care paramedics took the driver and one passenger to the Canberra Hospital. Both patients are said to be in a stable condition with minor injuries.
An ACT Policing spokeswoman said a live-wire was still on the ground as of around 8am and ACT Fire and Rescue were working to restore the intersection.
The spokeswoman said ACTEW AGL would also be called to the scene.
Police said westbound traffic across Limestone Avenue was blocked from Girrahween Street to Grimes Street.
Traffic is reportedly heavy northbound on Limestone Avenue with motorists facing significant delays.
A tow truck is expected to arrive on scene before 10am.
Police have urged motorists to take caution and expect delays.
