Dear Canberra Times,
?
A friend told me you were having a competition for winter photographs. We do not get the Canberra Times where we are in a rural area so I have not got a lot of ideas on what you wanted in particular but as I have been taking photographs on my very early morning walks, then here are three that I would like you to consider. These were all taken on a Canon IXUS that I carry in my pocket most of the time and although I have a much bigger and better camera, I don't fancy carrying it up and down our road every morning for a walk every day of the week every week of the year, but the little one fits in my pocket easily and so it gets to take the frightfully early pictures before anybody gets up by which time the fog has gone and the frost has melted.
?
Best regards,
Rosanne Hood
