Police have appealed for help to identify two men who threatened a woman with a knife in an attempted robbery in Canberra's Glebe Park on March 12.

ACT Policing said one of the men requested money when they approached the woman about 7.45pm.

When the woman refused, the other man pulled out a 40cm knife and demanded the woman hand over her mobile phone.
She again refused and one of the men attempted to grab it from her, but failed.
The woman managed to take photos of the men as they walked away.
