A man has been on the run since evading police, then crashing his car into a tree and escaping as the car burned.

Police are appealing for help after following a Honda sedan on the Federal Highway to Bywong, about 20km north of Canberra on Saturday.
The pursuit began about 6.30pm when highway police tried to stop the Honda travelling south on the highway at Yarra on Goulburn’s southern outskirts.
They pursued the car to an intersection at Macs Reef Road, Bywong, where road spikes were deployed.
The man crossed to the other side of the road and his vehicle hit a tree.
He jumped from the car and was last seen running across farms in the area.
A fire then destroyed the Honda.Goulburn and ACT police using dogs widened their search but were unable to find the driver.
