Claims by a 16-year-old girl that she was abducted and raped during an afternoon jog in Holt were found to be ''not substantiated'' by police.

Police spent nearly two months investigating claims the girl was abducted while running on Spofforth Street about 5.30pm, on September 15.
She said she was grabbed from behind and dragged into a Ford Falcon sedan by three men.
She said she was sexually assaulted and left near a car park close to the Kippax playing fields near Moyes Crescent.
The claims led to police distributing posters with a face-fit image of one of the men.
But police said yesterday the teenager's claims were not substantiated.
Authorities have spoken with the man identified in the face fit, and will not be laying charges. Police say the investigation has now been finalised. Christopher Knaus
