Police have found a missing Farrer woman after an overnight search through bushland on the city's edge.

Julie Dawson, 26, had been reported missing on Monday, after being last seen at 4.30pm wearing an aqua coloured summer dress, high heels and a small white cardigan. The temperature dropped to 4 degrees overnight.
The car she had been driving was later located at 5.20pm near the Canberra Equestrian Centre on the Cotter Road. Officers from ACT Policing searched the area overnight and the Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter was also tasked to assist in the search at 1am.
A spokeswoman for ACT Policing reported that Ms Dawson had been found safe and well just after 8am this morning. She was sighted along the Cotter Road area, where the spokeswoman said she had spent the night.
Ms Dawson is reportedly conscious and lucid.
