Two police officers and a 24-year-old woman have been assessed at hospital after a collision between a patrol car and a Holden Commodore in Belconnen this morning.

ACT Policing's Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team (CIRT) is investigating the crash at the intersection of Belconnen Way and Springvale Drive about 8.24am.
A police spokesperson said the car occupied by their officers was on a routine patrol and was travelling within the speed limit without lights or sirens when it struck the front passenger side of the other car, which was turning onto Springvale Drive.
Both cars were extensively damaged in the crash.
The driver of the Commodore was taken to hospital for observation. Both police officers later attended hospital for assessment.
