ACT Policing said in a statement that it raided the homes in Holder and Lyons on Thursday after receiving information through the Crime Stoppers website.
"Around 4.15pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday, July 11) ACT Policing executed simultaneous search warrants at both residences with the assistance of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC)," they said.
"During the warrants, police seized an estimated $25,000 in stolen property."
Three people were taken into custody by Immigration officials for breaching visa conditions, and they were taken to the Villawood Detention Centre.
"The occupant of the Lyons residence will be summonsed to appear in court on charges related to running an illegal brothel and stolen property," police said.
