A man allegedly stabbed in Griffith on Tuesday evening remained in hospital while police searched for his attacker.

The attack happened about 5.15pm at Stuart Flats, near the car port at the back of the building, police said.
Paramedics treated the man for multiple stab wounds at the scene, and transported him to Canberra Hospital in a stable condition.
ACT police have asked for the public's help to find the second man allegedly involved in the altercation.
He was described as being about 30 years old, Caucasian, 180-185cm tall, with black hair and a solid build.
He was wearing blue jeans and a light blue T-shirt.
He was last seen running in the direction of Evans Crescent and Canberra Avenue in Griffith.
