A NSW Police spokeswoman said PolAir, police divers and sniffer dogs had joined the search for Leonard Watkinson on Tuesday morning.
The search was called off overnight and started again at 9am Wednesday.
Police said they had focused their efforts on dense bushland at Mr Watkinson's Reardons Road property.
He was working near a dam on the site on Monday morning.
Mr Watkinson's partner, who was working on a different part of the property, last saw him about 10am on Monday.
The spokeswoman said the woman grew worried when Mr Watkinson did not return to the house for lunch at 1pm.
She searched the property and by 4pm notified police and neighbours of his disappearance.
A search for Mr Watkinson involving police officers, SES officers, the Goulburn Police rescue squad and a NSW Ambulance helicopter began Monday afternoon and finished at 1.30am Tuesday, before beginning again at 8am Tuesday.
