Police believe a man who allegedly tried to lure a child into his car in Curtin on Wednesday has also approached kids in several similar incidents.

ACT Policing said it had stepped up its presence in the Woden area after several reports about the man, who officers are working to identify.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, in his late 30s or early 40s, about 170cm tall and of slim build. He has dark hair and a deep voice.
On some occasions, the man was wearing a light grey tracksuit, T-shirt, black puffer-style vest and black beanie.
In the Curtin incident, which happened about 8.40am on Wednesday, the man approached a student on Carruthers Street.
He asked the student to come to a dark grey or silver sedan to see a puppy, but the child refused.
ACT Policing said it was working closely with the education directorate after the reports.
Police encouraged people to remind children how to keep safe around strangers, and to report any unusual approaches immediately on 131 444, or 000 in emergencies.
