Close to 15 kilometres of the Stromlo Forest Park have been transformed into an obstacle course that promises to test the fitness of even the most athletic Canberrans.

Boasting a variety of makeshift tunnels, fences and 30 obstacles, the race known as The Bravest will see individuals and teams push themselves to their muddy limits on Saturday.
The course has been designed by celebrity trainer Lee Campbell; a man who has put the likes of Fabio and Jon Bon Jovi through their paces.
One Canberran taking on the challenge will be Heart Foundation ACT chief executive Tony Stubbs, although he has warned his fellow competitors it may be tougher than they think.
"This is not for everybody but there are a lot of people who have started training for it six months out who probably wouldn't have done anything like this before," he said.
"This has motivated them to increase their exercise levels and start a regular habit of training and continue on with that.
"For me, I exercise more when I have an event to compete in so I have been doing the same thing this year."
Mr Campbell said the event was unlike any other obstacle event as it was not broken up by long runs and queues from obstacles.
"It's fluid and it's all about bravery and perseverance," he said.
"It's time to be a little bolder, be a little braver and take on some new fitness goals for a healthier you in 2015," he said.
ACT Chief Minister Andrew Barr said completing the obstacle course was part of a New Year's resolution to improve his fitness.
"I've done about six months of training so I reckon I'm ready to take on the challenge but I'm just really keen to get it finished," he said.
"I started this with a 12-week Heart Foundation program last year to improve my diet and do better exercise, so I've lost a lot of weight and am a lot fitter than I was before."
Mr Barr said the event was another opportunity for Canberrans to be active and to utilise the nature reserve.
"We've got the facilities here at Stromlo and we should be taking advantage of them and getting people out there using them," he said.
The Heart Foundation ACT is a charity partner of the event and a portion of the $150 registration fees would be donated to assist their work.
