The National Museum of Australia and the Australian War Memorial will be at the top of the royal couple's itinerary when they land in the nation's capital, Clarence House announced on Wednesday AEST.
Charles and Camilla will attend the memorial's national Remembrance Day ceremony on November 11, reflecting "the Prince and Duchess's strong relationship with the military in both New Zealand and Australia".
The museum visit will be one of several "cultural" activities throughout the trip.
It is not clear how long they will spend in Canberra.
The tour, from November 4 to 15, will see the pair fly into New Zealand and tour a number of cities and sites before crossing the Tasman Sea to Australia where they will visit Adelaide, Tanunda, Canberra, Sydney, Albany and Perth.
Other Australian activities planned include marking the centenary of Gallipoli at the new National Anzac Centre in Albany, getting "a taste of regional life" in the South Australian town of Tanunda and celebrating Prince Charles' birthday with Western Australian families at a beachside barbecue in Cottesloe.
In July Clarence House announced the royal couple would visit Australia and New Zealand in November, the first time since the Queen's Diamond Jubilee in 2012, but did not reveal the dates of the tour or where exactly the Duke and Duchess of Cornwell would travel.
It will be the Prince of Wales' 15th trip to Australia and the Duchess of Cornwall's second.
It's not the first time members of the British monarchy have visited Canberra in recent years.
Canberrans braved wet weather to catch a glimpse of Prince Harry at the Australian War Memorial in April.
Prince William, Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge and a chubby-cheeked Prince George took the capital by storm a year earlier in April, 2014 as part of their royal tour.
