The 2014 attack was caught on the shopping centre's CCTV.
Dean Stephen Reid and Kirk Jacques Newman had earlier pleaded guilty to the charges of assault and affray.
While the pair have spent time in custody they have avoided more time behind bars. Chief Justice Helen Murrell has sentenced both to an intensive corrections order starting Friday; Reid for 20 months, and Newman for 16 months.
The intensive corrections order is a new form of sentencing that allows offenders to serve their time in the community, with conditions, and under strict supervision and compliance regimes.
Chief Justice Murrell also ordered Reid complete 200 hours of community service and Newman complete 100 hours of service.
Both have been ordered not to knowingly or recklessly communicate with gang members of any bikie club, or associate with anyone on a list that was handed to the court by prosecutor Anthony Williamson.
The list included both Rebels and members of other gangs. Other gang members were included because there were incidences of bikies "patching over" to different gangs, Mr Williamson said.
Reid's lawyer James Lawton told the court his client had since left the Rebels. He said Reid was not aware of current Rebels membership and did not know the people in other gangs.
Earlier this year, Newman's lawyer Paul Edmonds had also told the ACT Supreme Court his client was leaving the club.
The bashing of two Finks members happened in October 2014, after Newman noticed the rival members at the shopping centre.
He was joined by then eastside chapter president Reid and former sergeant-at-arms Fakatounaulupe Ngata, known as Lupe Ngata.
The trio found the Finks' motorcycles and waited for an hour between the shopping centre and parking lot for the men to emerge.

Ngara was sentenced separately for his role in the incident, after he pleaded guilty to one charge of aggravated robbery. He had stripped, stolen and later burned the rival gang member's t-shirt emblazoned with the word FINKS.
He was last year sentenced to three years in jail with a non-parole period of 18 months, due to end in May.
