A Charnwood man accused of robbing a northside supermarket at knife point has been locked up on remand. Daniel Kirchner, 21, faced the ACT Magistrates Court on Monday charged with the aggravated robbery of Food Works in Higgins on November 12. It is alleged he threatened staff with a 30-centimetre kitchen knife before making off with $600 in cash. He did not enter pleas and did not apply for bail. Magistrate Bernadette Boss formally remanded him in custody and he is due to reappear in court next month.
