Bank staff called the police on Thursday afternoon after the man, whose personal bank account had been flagged, attempted to withdraw money from another account. An ACT Policing spokesman said he was allegedly drawing funds from at least one other account.
ACT Policing arrested the 35-year-old, who was charged with 10 counts of theft and two counts of attempted theft relating to banking fraud.
Police will oppose bail when he appears in the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday.
