More than 9500 tickets have been sold to the action sports show but organisers are expecting that number to rise to about 11,000 given "the glorious weather" forecast for Saturday.
It's a dream come true for the little stunt boys and girls of Canberra, who've been restricted to watching Nitro Circus on YouTube in the three years since the crew last visited the capital.
Nitro Circus is a collective of the world's best freestyle motocross performers, skateboarders, rollerbladers, BMX and scooter riders, and wheelchair stunt performers.
The show at Canberra Stadium on Saturday afternoon is literally "too big to fit indoors" and features a brand new 10-metre ramp - the highest the Nitro Circus crew has ever hit - dreamed up and built at at the Maryland ranch of Nitro Circus founder Travis Pastrana.
Pastrana arrived in Canberra on Wednesday and said the thousands of people headed to the show on Saturday are "definitely seeing a show packed with world-firsts".
"We're not sure how it's going to play out so strap yourselves in Canberra," he said.
"We're in front of [motocross rider] Harry Bink's home crowd and we are going to put on one hell of a show."
