Residents in areas including Braidwood, Canberra, Tuggeranong, Goulburn, Yass and Tumbarumba had been warned to expect heavy rainfall, damaging winds and possible flash flooding.
The warning, issued at 3pm, remained in place until after 10pm.
An ACT State Emergency Service spokesman said it had received 16 calls, most of which were in the south of the Territory involving damage to roofs. He said volunteers from the Tuggeranong and Woden SES units had responded to requests for help.
The capital received more than 30 millimetres of rain during the weekend, causing some outdoor events, including an open air cinema screening at Commonwealth Park, to be cancelled.
Weatherzone meteorologist Brett Dutschke said the ACT received an additional 13millimetres of rain from 9am on Sunday.
But he said this should be followed by a fine week in the ACT region.
''There is probably not a lot more rain to come overnight and into Monday,'' he said.
''I imagine there would just be another couple of millimetres on Sunday night and the next couple of days are looking dry.''
He said a top of 27 degrees was forecast for Monday with mostly sunny conditions in Canberra, though this might follow an overnight low of nine degrees.
Tuesday was expected to reach a top of 28 degrees, after 10 degrees overnight.
''The next best chance of showers is on Wednesday,'' Mr Dutschke said, ''when there could be up to 10 millimetres, but most likely it will be less than 5 millimetres.''
Wednesday's forecast top was also 28 degrees with mostly sunny conditions. However, Mr Dutschke said the temperature might go higher to 30 degrees on Wednesday.
This should be followed by a sunny 23 degrees on Thursday and 24 and mostly sunny skies on Friday.
He said the week in Canberra would be cooler than last week, making it ''one of the coolest weeks since at least early January or possibly early December when there was a week of just mid-20s''.
Early morning conditions also would be cooler later in the week. There was a good chance of the temperature falling to about five degrees on Friday morning, ''which is pretty cold for February and about six or seven degrees cooler than the average,'' Mr Dutschke said.
Saturday's forecast was for mostly sunny conditions with a top of 25 degrees.
