A suspected ice and heroin trafficker who was tracked using phone taps and police surveillance has gone on trial in the ACT Supreme Court.

Trong Ruyen Bui, 45, has pleaded not guilty to two drug trafficking charges. The Crown alleges Mr Bui trafficked in 2012 until his car and home were searched in July that year.
Crown prosecutor John Lundy said the searches had revealed heroin, ice, drug paraphernalia and mobile phones in the two-storey house.
Mr Lundy said Mr Bui's DNA was also found in plastic bags and a sock in which heroin was found, It was allegedly linked with drugs found in another man's car.
