Police have arrested a 17-year-old teenager from Canberra's south after he allegedly robbed another man with a baseball bat and assaulted him on Thursday.
Police said the victim was walking inside an underpass near Isabella Drive and Ashley Drive in Gowrie at about 11.10am when he was approached by two other men.
One of the men had a baseball bat in his backpack and allegedly threatened the victim, demanding his mobile phone before allegedly assaulting him.
The victim handed over his mobile phone and the two men ran away, police said.
ACT Policing later found and arrested one of the men - a 17-year-old from south Canberra.
He will face the ACT Children's Court on Friday morning, charged with aggravated robbery and possessing an offensive weapon with intent.
