A teenager accused of taking part in a knifepoint bottle shop robbery has been formally remanded in custody.

A 17-year-old boy faced the ACT Children’s Court this morning, charged with aggravated robbery.
Police say the boy and another teen entered the Liquorland bottle shop on Franklin St in Manuka yesterday afternoon.
It’s alleged they threatened staff with a knife and demanded cash.
The court today heard they made off with about $460.
Police allege they quickly identified the pair from the store’s CCTV footage.
The teenager did not apply for bail this morning and Magistrate Beth Campbell formally remanded him in custody.
He is due back in court later this month and has yet to plead.
Police have released a second 17-year-old pending further inquiries.
