A teenage boy has admitted to smashing 138 building and vehicle windows during a vandalism spree across Canberra's inner south in July.

The 17-year-old pleaded guilty in the ACT Children's Court to four charges of intentional damaging property.
His alleged co-offender, also aged 17, has not yet entered a plea to the allegations.
Police allege the 17-year-old boys caused more than $100,000 of damage during a rampage through schools in Deakin, Red Hill and Yarralumla, and at a Manuka cafe on the morning of July 9.
The court on Monday heard the damage included 123 windows at Canberra Grammar School, 13 windows and two flood lights owned by Canberra Girls Grammar School, and two windows at Urban Pantry.
Police said they searched properties in Griffith and Ainslie after receiving public tip offs.
Following the searches, the two teenagers were summonsed to appear in court, charged with joint commission of damaging property.
The boy will reappear in court in January for sentence.
The second will next appear in court in December.
