Two Florey fast food store workers were attacked by a group of 10 young people as young as 13 last night, police said.

ACT Police said two teenage boys went into the Florey Dominos Pizza store about 10.30pm and stole food and soft drink.

"Two staff members from Dominos located the two youths and a group of young people near the Florey oval, a short distance away from the shops. The group was eating the food that had been taken from Dominos and agreed to return to the shop to pay for the items," police said.

"The group of youths followed the two Dominos staff members to the rear of the Dominos Pizza shop, but as they approached the rear door, the group have forced the two staff members to the ground and repeatedly kicked and punched them. The group of youths fled the area towards Krefft Street."

Police said there were about 10 teenagers in the group, aged between 13 and 16.
