The new store will span 1500 square metres and carry the latest collections for women, men and children which have been designed especially the Southern Hemisphere customers.
According to a spokesperson Australia's seventh Zara store has been fitted out with fixtures flown in from the brand's homeland, Spain.
The ACT's first store has been modelled on similar boutiques recently renovated and opened on Fifth Avenue in New York and - closer to home - Bondi Junction and Doncaster.
The Canberra Times revealed in late February the official opening date for the new Zara store - celebrating with two weekends of fashion showings, fashion styling classes and personal styling lessons from March 15.
Additional security will be in place at Canberra Centre for the opening, with large crowds expected.
