The incident happened between 6pm on Friday and 5am on Saturday at the Strathgordon Court residence.
Police said the offenders slashed the tyres of the resident’s car before setting the front door of the unit on fire, and making off with two bicycles.
The fire self-extinguished, but police said the interior of the apartment was left with extensive smoke damage, and may require a complete refurbishment.
No one was home at the time, and no one was injured.
Forensic investigators examined the scene, and police are now calling for witnesses who may have noticed any suspicious activity in the area between Friday and Saturday.
Anyone who may be able to assist with the investigation is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
