An Emergency Services Agency spokesman said two male cyclists in their 50s were treated by ACT Ambulance. One of the men has a possible fractured elbow and rib injury and the other was being treated for a possible dislocated elbow.

The third patient was a female cyclist aged in her 30s. She suffered a minor head injury and was treated for back pain.

Emergency services crews were called to the crash on Baldwin Drive near the intersection of Gum Street, at 7.15am.

Initial reports indicated there were two cyclists involved, but this was updated to three cyclists shortly after 8am, an ACT Police spokeswoman said.

Two ACT Ambulance crews and firefighters attended the scene at the northern end of the road, near to William Slim Drive.

Two southbound lanes were closed as a result of the morning crash and ACT Policing asked drivers to avoid the area.

One southbound lane was reopened but crews were still working to clear the area as of 9.30am.
