A man caught traveling at more than 50km/h over the speed limit is one of more than 670 drivers nabbed by ACT Police last month.

The 22-year-old man was caught driving at 141km/h in a 90km/h zone – his second serious speeding offence, according to ACT Police.
The Harrison man was fined $1811 and lost six demerit points. Police said his excuse for speeding was that he was "tired".
A 21-year-old P-plater was also caught speeding on Ginninderra Drive. The Dunlop man was nabbed traveling at 130km/h in an 80km/h zone. He was also fined $1811.
Of the 670 drivers caught speeding, 268 were caught travelling between 15km/h and 30km/h over the posted limit.
Sergeant Mark Steel said speeding would not be tolerated by the community or ACT Policing.
"Drivers who wilfully speed were gambling with their own lives, the lives of other drivers and passengers, and the lives of children, pedestrians and cyclists," he said.
Fines for speeding range from a minimum of $203 and the loss of one demerit point to over $1,800 and the loss of six demerit points for each offence.
The courts may also disqualify a driver from holding or obtaining a drivers licence in serious cases.
