Two Canberra men will appear before a regional court next month after they were caught driving a stolen car with lifted number plates at Gundaroo on Friday afternoon.

Police's suspicions were first aroused when they spotted the 26-year-old Belconnen man and the 19-year-old man from Watson parked in the driveway of a farm on Murrumbateman Road.
Checks revealed the red Mitsubishi sedan they were seated in had been reported stolen.
Further checks revealed the plates didn't belong to the car either.
When police spoke to the 26-year-old they also found he was a disqualified driver.
The younger man was also found with a pair of scissors in the leg pocket of his pants.
Both men will appear before Yass Local Court on December 8.
The Belconnen man is charged with taking and driving a vehicle without consent of owner, possessing an implement to enter and drive motor vehicle, goods in custody, driving while disqualified and displaying unauthorised number plates.
His co-accused was charged with carried in conveyance without consent of owner and custody of knife in a public place.
