Prince Charles and his wife Camilla will make a brief day visit to Canberra on Saturday November 10.
The details of their itinerary have been announced this afternoon.
The couple will name the section of Parkes Place along the southern edge of Lake Burley Griffin from 11.30am-12noon.
They will then hold meetings with the Governor-General, Prime Minister and Leader of the Opposition, before a lunch at Government House at 1.55pm.
The second opportunity for the public to see the couple will be at the entrance to the Australian War Memorial at 3.30pm before the couple lays a wreath at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
The couple then leaves for the airport to fly out to New Zealand.
