Firefighters doused a small fire in Crace on Thursday night which appeared in almost the exact same spot as a grassfire extinguished a day earlier.

The small fire burnt only a tuft of grass next to Baratta Street, near Gundaroo Drive and Abena Avenue about 7.30pm.

A 50 square metre fire was burning in the same area Wednesday morning.
ACT Firefighters had two units on the scene of Wednesday's fire and had extinguished the blaze by midday.
The cause of both fires has not been dertemined.
