The partnership will provide free legal advice to LGBTQI staff who experience harassment.
UnionsACT secretary Alex White said he was concerned that rates of bullying would increase during the survey, which is expected to begin on 12 September.
"Everyone deserves to feel safe at work, no matter their sexuality or gender identity," Mr White said.
"Similarly, employers have a legal obligation to ensure that workers are not exposed to bullying, harassment or unsafe working conditions, either from coworkers or customers.
"We are proud to have partnered with Slater & Gordon to ensure that LGBTQI workers can have their rights protected."
The free legal service will be available until 15 November and can be accessed by calling 02 6225 8116 or visiting www.weareunioncbr.org.au.
It is available to all LGBTQI employees regardless of whether they are a UnionsACT member or not.
