ACT Fire & Rescue attended a small fire, which started on a stove inside the University Village in Bruce and was extinguished by a resident and the sprinkler system.
The fire damage was minimal, however the kitchen and a common area sustained some water and smoke damage.
An automatic fire alarm alerted firefighters just after 2pm, and they were ventilating the area for residents to return to the area.
