Van rolled several times after collision with ute

Date

Police are looking for a white Mitsubishi Triton ute that collided with another vehicle in Hume, causing it to roll several times.

ACT Policing said the ute driver drove away without providing details to the other driver, who suffered minor injuries in the incident.

"About 1.30pm a white Mitsubishi Triton utility towing a horse float was traveling south on the Monaro Highway, near Sheppard Street. Around this time the utility collided with the rear of a ‘Windscreens O’Brien’ Toyota HiAce van, causing it to roll several times," police said in a statement.

They ask anyone who saw the vehicles or the crash to contact Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000 or at www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.

Police said the incident was unrelated to an alleged hit and run also involving a white Triton ute on Sunday morning.
