Federal ACT Senator Zed Seselja and ACT transport minister Meegan Fitzharris announced the completion of upgrades to Wentworth Avenue on Wednesday.

"These works were 100 per cent funded by the Australian Government's Roads to Recovery program," Mr Seselja said.
"Now that this work is complete, the 10,000 people who use the road each day will be able to enjoy a smoother journey, and we thank residents for their patience while this work was undertaken," Ms Fitzharris said.
Over 1.5 kilometres of road surface on Wentworth Avenue had been repaired or upgraded since 2013, including new gutters and kerbs.
Mr Fitzharris said it would offer cyclists a smoother ride with on-road cycle lanes.
Mr Seselja said investments in road infrastructure would help create jobs in the ACT.
