Wet weather road closures in Canberra

While Canberra has escaped the widespread flooding which swallowed parts of the south coast and the Hunter regions, receiving more than 20 millimetres of rain in two days has resulted in some road closures around the capital.

Angle Crossing is closed to motorists and other road users indefinitely.

The Tuggeranong crossing of the Murrumbidgee is regularly closed due to high water levels.

Sunshine Crossing is also closed due to the recent wet weather.

The gate entrance off London Bridge Road at the southern entrance of Googong also remains closed, meaning vehicle access to the southern end of the Googong Foreshores is still cut off.
