A woman was allegedly assaulted during a frightening road rage incident in Conder last month, police say.

On Thursday, ACT Policing called for witnesses to the incident, which they said followed a minor car crash along Tharwa Drive.
About 2pm on December 29, a maroon four wheel drive towing a trailer was involved in a collision with a silver Mitsubishi Lancer.
After the crash, both drivers pulled over and got out of their cars.
"As this occurred, a man standing on the median strip approached the driver of the Silver Mitsubishi Lancer car and assaulted her," police said.
The man was believed to be a bystander.
A spokeswoman said ACT Policing was not aware of the woman receiving any medical treatment.
They described the man as being of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander appearance, aged in his 30s, with short dark hair and a moustache.
