A night of clubbing took a dark turn for one woman who was assaulted after leaving a Civic nightclub last month.
ACT Policing is calling on the public to help identify the person responsible for the attack on the 19-year-old woman, who was assaulted after leaving Academy in the early hours on Saturday, December 15.
Police said the woman had been drinking while visiting a number of clubs earlier in the evening, and was affected by alcohol when she left the Bunda Street nightclub about 12.50am.
Police are withholding the victim's identity, but have released a description of the 170cm tall woman, who has long dark hair and a slight to medium build. At the time of the assault, she was wearing a short to mid-thigh length champagne coloured strapless dress with a black bow, as well as black high heels and was carrying a small black bag with a long strap.
Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au.
